THE JOB

The Venue Maintenance Crew assists with the excellent care of RV Inn Style

Resorts Amphitheater, its infrastructure and appearance. From day-to-day maintenance, to coordinating contractors, compliance with health and safety regulations and conducting continuous improvement strategies, the team are to ensure our venue is presented at the highest standard.

The Venue Maintenance Crew will conduct daily and weekly routine checks; identify and manage basic repairs; Ensure all areas are clean, tidy and well presented; Ensure highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene practices; supervise deliveries; Communicate plans for improvements and repairs to the facilities manager; effectively interface with venue management; provide event oversight for facilities department.

 

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Perform maintenance duties according to Live Nation service standards
  • Perform Opening/Running/Closing duties according to Live Nation Service Standards
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner
  • Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area
  • throughout shift
  • Clean and stock line to par throughout shift
  • Keep current on all standard operating procedures
  • Assist Other Employees as needed
  • Replaces burned out light bulbs or report same to supervisor
  • Maintains service rooms and storage areas in a clean orderly manner
  • Reports all repairs required and safety and fire hazards to supervisor
  • Observes safety standards and practices
  • Performs related duties as required or assigned within job classification

Required:

  • First-class client and customer service
  • Passionate and enthusiastic for the live events industry
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours (weekends/evenings/public holidays)
  • Willingness to build positive working relationships
  • A proactive organizer in problem-solving who can negotiate solutions
  • Experience in facility operations
  • Ability to read, write and follow written instruction
  • Detail-oriented and team player with a positive “can-do” attitude
  • Early Morning, Day and/or Night time availability
  • Sense of Urgency
  • Time Management
  • Critical thinking and decision making
  • High School diploma
  • Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms

 

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

  • Work environment is fast-paced
  • Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing, bending, stooping,
  • reaching, and working on your feet
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques
  • Tolerance of loud noises
  • Previous experience working with local municipalities, such as police, fire, etc.
  • Previous experience supervising and managing large volumes of part time, event based employees
  • Experience in a live music environment
