Job Description:

Responsibilities 

Health Research, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Contract Administrator to join the tight-knit Office of Contracts & Operations team, within the Corporate Office, in Menands, NY. The incumbent will be responsible for reviewing subcontract and consultant vouchers for payment, organizing and maintaining documents, and will serve as a liaison to vendors and program staff. This role works closely with HRI’s Office of Sponsored Programs, the Office of Corporate Compliance, the Corporate Controller, and many NYS Department of Health programs.

Minimum Qualifications 

Bachelor's degree in a related field; OR an Associate’s degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience; OR four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications  

Previous experience with reviewing invoices/vouchers, subcontractor/consultant interaction and processing payments. Previous experience with Workday, Microsoft Office suite, including Adobe Pro, Excel and Word.  

Conditions of Employment

Management/Confidential position. 

Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location. Telecommuting will be available.

This position may require occasional work on weekends, after-hours, and holidays.
