We expect the creation of the two companies will be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2024. We will continue to operate as one global company. This role is positioned to drive the success of the "New Health Care Company”.  

 

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

 

As a Data Systems Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

     - Leading and contributing to key transformational programs: (Factory of the Future, Industry 4.0, Data Analytics, Connected/Digital Factory)

     - Identify, develop, and lead digital software solution projects for integrated systems, manufacturing, and reporting. 

     - Identify and execute projects based on data mining / data analysis in order to drive benefits in manufacturing performance.

     - Manage and lead site technical software release testing, validation, & training.

     - Develop solutions, software and components based on internal/external customer and business requirements.

     - Carrying out Quality Assurance and bug fixes as the need arises, manage and administers the industrial computer security systems to meet 3M Policy, and willingness to be on-call

 

Your Skills and Expertise  
 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

     - Bachelor’s Degree AND two (2) years of Data Systems experience in professional or academic setting (Includes course work/internship)

OR

     - High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of six (6) years of experience in Data Systems experience

 

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

     - Master's degree or higher in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or related technical field from an accredited institution

     - Project leadership experience

     - Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Sharepoint Lists, MS Dataverse experience

     - Database skills with SQL scripts and stored procedures experience

     - User Interface development, C# Programming with MS Visual Studio, Grafana programming and experience with automation and/or robotics

     - Passion for SMART Manufacturing, Data Automation, Industry 4.0 to create value and team player with the ability to contribute in a matrix environment

 

Work location:

Onsite Columbia, Missouri, USA

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic.

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $93,033 - $113,708, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
