Client Services Intern - Summer Internship

POSITION: Client Services Intern

DIRECT REPORT: Manager, Client Services Operations

SUMMARY: The Client Services Intern will work alongside and in support of several teams within the business development platform – offering a well-rounded educational experience with a focus in Real Estate transitions management, market research, and client pitch development. 

TIME COMMITMENT: This internship will run from 5/28/2024 through 7/31/2024. Time commitment each week will not exceed 30 (thirty) hours and will be monitored through an electronic time clock. 

COMPENSATION: The total compensation for this internship will not exceed the Colorado minimum wage. A total of $5,157.78 will be paid bi-weekly in equal installments per the Cardinal Group Companies payroll calendar. 

PHYSICAL LOCATION – This internship will be based in Denver, CO. Applicants based in or willing to self-relocate to Denver will be preferred. 

RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to)

  • Market research including, but not limited to, rent surveys, supply & demand metrics, demographic & marketing trends, and overall market dynamics.
  • Assist with preparing management opportunity proposals and presentations, including narratives, graphic charts, and financial aggregation.
  • Assist with the physical and economic due diligence of management opportunities, including property inspections and review & auditing of leases and other records.
  • Participate in the management of organizational systems including but not limited to: CRM platform, filesharing organization, and internal trackers.
  • Ongoing organization and coordination of reports and company resources vital to new business to ensure external facing resources are accurate and up to date.
  • Participate in Cardinal U training as required.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Ability to communicate effectively in and across teams; must possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and organizational skills
  • Experience in Excel and Google Workspace
  • Track record of results-oriented achievements and successful strategy execution
  • Methodical and analytical thinking
  • Pursuing a degree in Economics, Real Estate, or Business is preferred but not required
