Undergraduate Intern - Entertainment Law

We are seeking in-person summer interns who are interested in entertainment law. Candidates must possess outstanding business etiquette (most importantly discretion) and be eager to learn. You must pay strong attention to detail, possess excellent organizational skills, and be extremely reliable. Strong previous knowledge of and experience in the music business is a plus, but not required!

 

We will only consider rising juniors and seniors (i.e., will finish sophomore or junior year in spring 2024) who will receive class credit for this position.

Primary duties will include:

  • Assisting with the filing and record keeping of legal documentation, including a major, ongoing file digitization project.
  • Assisting with the mailings and electronic submissions of legal documents.
  • Preparing basic documents such as retainers, letters of direction, and contract comparisons and summaries.
  • Creating a weekly office newsletter for current events in the music industry.
  • Any other projects or duties that arise.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn how the music industry functions at a preeminent entertainment law firm.

 

Start date and hours are flexible.

Compensation: Unpaid, for school credit only.
