Intake Specialist

Dovel & Luner, a plaintiff’s firm in Santa Monica (www.dovel.com), is hiring an Intake Specialist.  This Intake Specialist will help us acquire and prosecute mass torts cases on behalf of injured plaintiffs.  An example of a mass tort is the environmental lawsuit against a chemical company that is the subject of the 2019 film Dark Waters.  Tasks for this position include:

• Call and interview potential clients for matters that we are investigating.
• Review and track client documentation and prepare plaintiff fact sheets.
• Assist in preparing legal documents such as Complaints.
• Translating documents into Spanish.
• Interacting with Spanish-speaking clients and contacts.

The applicant must be fluent in Spanish. 

The pay is $20/hr and expected hours for this job are up to 20 hours a week, varying based on need.  The position may be remote but requires in-person training to begin. The position will require some evening and weekend work.
