Goodwill NeuroRehab Services helps people rediscover their brain’s talents, capacity and abilities after an injury. Our team of case managers, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, neuropsychologists, speech pathologists, and others treat the cognitive, emotional and physical needs of patients with brain injuries.

A Public Health AmeriCorps Member is needed to build and expand the transport network in Greater Portland and Scarborough for Goodwill’s NeuroRehab clinic. Service will involve supporting clients with their transport needs to ensure that they will always have access to the care they need.

Much of our treatment occurs in our centers and in real-world scenarios, although we also offer telehealth services. We take patients to the supermarket to shop, to where they work, or visit them at home to relearn valuable life skills. We work with caregivers, doctors, funding sources, advocacy organizations and other community agencies to develop and deliver care that is designed to help patients reach stability.
