Entry-Level Litigation Assistant
Title: Entry-Level Litigation Assistant – Public Interest Law Firm

Our firm specializes in labor and employment law, groundbreaking environmental and constitutional/civil rights litigation, political and election law, and wage-and-hour and employment discrimination class action matters. We are seeking an entry-level litigation assistant to start in summer 2024. Spanish fluency is strongly preferred. This is a two-year position and is an especially good opportunity for those considering pursuing a career in law.

Duties/Description of Job:
- Organizing and summarizing documents
- Conducting research, especially online
- Checking format and content of citations
- Interacting with clients, especially via phone, email, and in person
- Assisting with trial preparation
- Potentially participating on courtroom trial team, depending on firm needs
- Potentially attending labor-management collective bargaining negotiations, depending on firm needs
- Performing administrative tasks
- Performing other duties as needed
We are an equal opportunity employer. We offer a salary that is competitive with public interest and non-profit firms. The salary range is $48,000 to $57,000, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and, in addition to 12 holidays, 2 weeks per year vacation to start and 3 weeks after 18 months.
