Program Experience 

 

CSL’s Internship Program is a hands-on experience that showcases the daily innovation and operations of a leading biotechnology company. Our environment is collaborative, global, and purpose-driven. The 12-week experience will immerse students in meaningful, thought-provoking projects that contribute to CSL's promise to save lives and protect the health of people around the world. In addition to making an impact, students will develop personally and professionally while cultivating meaningful relationships.  

 

Main Responsibilities

 

This role is located in Holly Springs, North Carolina. Main responsibilities will include but not limited to:

 

Problem Solving: Participate in troubleshooting to address challenges related to the setup and function of various process equipment systems.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand equipment user requirements and develop robust solutions to help increase equipment reliability and efficiency.

Documentation: Learn and utilize Good Documentation Practices and Good Engineering Practices to complete revisions to regulatory documents as needed.

• Stay Informed: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field of generative AI and integrate new techniques where appropriate.

Professional Development: Engage in learning opportunities offered during the internship, including staff meetings, facility and equipment tours, and various company culture programs.

Communication: Compile a presentation of a project and present a narrative of the internship experience to a technical audience.

 

Qualifications: 

• Seeking rising juniors and seniors, currently enrolled as a full-time student, pursing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related fields

• GPA of 3.0 or higher (out of a 4.0 scale)

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work well with all levels of the organization.

• Demonstrates flexibility and acceptance of assignments and schedules.

• Enthusiasm to learn new tools & technologies.
