IT Analyst Intern

Music Publishers work on behalf of the songwriters and composers to license copyrighted compositions and collect and payout royalties to their controlled writers earned by their compositions. This IT group supports all the departments and their technologies that are responsible for this. Departments we support include Legal/BA, Copyright, Sync & Mechanical Licensing, Client Services, Royalties, Income Tracking, Finance, and Rights Optimization. We are looking for an intern who not only loves music but is willing to learn and be mentored in the critical importance the IT Industry plays in the music industry

 

Our paid internship program will give you a unique opportunity to enhance your professional skillset, increase your knowledge of the industry, and expand your network. Our goal is to help you develop your talents as well as receive dedicated mentorship and support. Our Summer Internship Program will run from Tuesday, June 4th  – Friday, August 16th and allows interns to work up to a maximum of 20 hours per week. This internship is a paid in-person opportunity and requires the ability to work in the specified office location. 

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with internal and remote employees both in the IT department and other business departments with Concord.
  • Learn and understand IT processes and terminology as it relates to the music industry.
  • Learn how to manage and maintain IT-related process documents.
  • Become proficient in the Atlassian system including Confluence and Jira.
  • Create, update, maintain and manage the project documentation within the Confluence space for all IT/Publishing projects.
  • Develop an ability to work cross-functionally across a diverse range of business units.
  • Learn and understand how IT supports the entire music industry technology ecosystem.

Qualifications

What you'll need: 

  • Strong analytic skillset. 
  • This internship is a part-time paid internship and requires someone located in/near Nashville. 
  • The timeline of this internship program runs from Tuesday, June 4th  – Friday, August 16th You must be able to work 20 hours/week.
