Promotion Intern

The Promotion Team provides a wide array of support services and development for artists across Concord’s labels including securing airplay and marketing via Radio, Broadcast, Pandora, Retail, and other strategic partnerships. 

 

As the Promotion Intern, you will learn how the Promotion Team functions in the scope of overall Label operations to support our artists.  On a microlevel, you will learn the day-to-day functions that go into supporting that overall plan. You will learn the different phases of a recording from the studio into the marketplace, and how we provide as large an audience for the artist as possible with our various partners. You will learn how we develop long-term relationships with our programming partners. The intern will learn the various resources a label invests into developing an artist’s career.   

 

Our paid internship program will give you a unique opportunity to enhance your professional skillset, increase your knowledge of the industry, and expand your network. Our goal is to help you develop your talents as well as receive dedicated mentorship and support. Our Summer Internship Program will run from Tuesday, June 4th  – Friday, August 16th and allows interns to work up to a maximum of 20 hours per week. This internship is a paid in-person opportunity and requires the ability to work in the specified office location. 

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:  

  • Support the Promotion Team’s daily functions by providing data and analytical information. 
  • Learn about the range of duties within the Promotion Department and engage in a wide variety of those areas to benefit our artists. 
  • Develop marketing strategies for Artists and evaluate how that plan is working in real time as part of active album campaigns. 
  • Support the work of our Pandora Task Force and potentially lead Artist campaigns with select Pandora Curators.

  • This internship is a part-time paid internship and requires someone located in/near Nashville
  • The timeline of this internship program runs from Tuesday, June 4th – Friday, August 16th. You must be able to work 20 hours/week
