Reading Interventionist - Howard-Suamico School District

Description:
Under the direction of the Director of Teaching and Learning, the Interventionist plans, implements and assesses student learning experiences for assigned students.  Helps foster a love of learning for students and appropriately guides the learner to lead their learning. Facilitates parental involvement.  This is a full time position at Lineville Intermediate School. Start date is August 19, 2024.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution. Licensure and certification by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction 1316 required; 1316 and 1317 preferred.  Successful completion of student teaching experience. Knowledge of current educational methodology and practices. 


Experience in or knowledge of: 
Personalized learning and multi-level systems of literacy support for students to experience success in the universal classroom setting. Successful candidates must demonstrate exemplary 21st century skills, including the ability to organize, manage, analyze and interpret data. Candidates must be knowledgeable of best practice literacy instruction and experienced in a variety of intervention options for students. 3 years successful teaching experience required; experience with intervention especially at the K-6 level preferred.
