About the Position:

Under the general direction of the Office Chief, Local Assistance and Environmental Stewardship, the incumbent is responsible for the management and delivery of the District Local Assistance Emergency Relief (ER) Program. The incumbent would be responsible for managing all Local Assistance ER projects, acting as subject matter expert providing guidance to local agencies and district staff and reviewing and approving Damage Assessment Forms (DAF) for eligibility, funding and delivery. Incumbent will work with agencies to identify and implement measures to incorporate resilience in repair of damaged infrastructure. Incumbent works closely with Headquarters Division of Local Assistance (DLA) and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) on interpretation of ER Program guidance.
