Retail Store Manager
RETAIL STORE MANAGER
This is an excellent position for someone with retail experience and/or the desire to learn. The Retail Store Manager reports to the General Manager.
Responsibilities
- Manage retail store inventory, including purchasing, receiving, and merchandising retail items.
- Ensure a clean and well maintained retail building.
- Provide outstanding customer service.
- Accurately handle customer payments.
- Assist with other shop duties as needed.
- Maintain the highest level of friendly and professional guest services.
Qualifications
- Ability to commit to employment between May 1 and Oct. 1. There is the possibility for a portion of the season to be full time and a portion of the season to be part time.
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
- Ability to work weekends.
- Ability to lift and move up to 45 pounds.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in an environment that requires close attention to detail and multitasking.
- Knowledge of the Boundary Waters and interest in sharing enthusiasm for the Wilderness experience.
