Summer 2024 Activity Leader

Role:  Activity Leader 

Location: Thornwood, NY 

Salary: $19-$24 / hour (Room & Board Eligible)

About the role

In this role, you will organize and produce a full activity and excursion timetable while ensuring a high level of customer service and student satisfaction. 

Your key tasks will consist of, but not be limited to: 

  • Assisting with student arrivals and departures.
  • Delivering an initial welcome briefing to students.
  • Promoting, attending, and running all activities for your group.
  • Monitoring daily attendance and keeping up-to-date records and paperwork.
  • Attending all leader meetings.
  • Ensuring the EF behavior code is followed by students at all times and informing management immediately if there are any issues or problems.
  • Handle problems and emergency situations should they arise in a professional manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Enthusiastic, organized, and a natural leader.
  • Ability to keep students engaged, in a safe and meaningful environment.
  • Highly responsible, approachable, and friendly.
  • Have the ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • Have the right to live and work in the United States.
  • Complete fluency in English.
  • Attend training before your contract commences.
