Validation Engineer Intern

Your Role

We are hiring a motivated and driven Validation Engineer Intern.

  • Support commissioning, qualification, validation engineering activities to drive project success.
  • Support the commission, qualification, and validation of various facilities, utilities, and/or equipment in assigned projects.
  • Review, draft, develop, and execute required IQ, OQ, PQ documentation. 
  • Gather equipment requirements to develop validation documentation.
  • Support the generation and review of documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), validation plans, protocols, reports, and other technical documents. 
  • Collaborate with senior technicians and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve potential issues/risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and operations, to facilitate the successful completion of CQV activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of testing and validation activities.
  • Participate in risk assessments and gap analyses to identify areas for improvement and compliance enhancement.
  • ​Assist in the investigation and resolution of deviations, non-conformances, and other quality-related issues.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure all team members are informed of progress and challenges.
  • Follow established safety protocols and regulatory requirements during all engineering activities.
  • Additional responsibilities as required.
     

Requirements

  • Enrolled in accreddited engineering degree program. 
  • Previous experience or academic experience in validation is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and systems.
  • Strong drive learn, motivated, and driven.  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Prior internship or co-op experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment preferred, but not required.
  • Ability and willingness to travel is required.

 

Estimated pay: $18-$22/hr ​
