Network Automation Engineering Intern

What We Need

NetBrain is looking to build a team of enthusiastic, intellectually curious and technically savvy engineering students to join us as Network Automation Engineering Interns. We need bilingual (Mandarin/English) individuals who possess a keen sense of logic, great communication skills and the ability to quickly learn complex concepts and technologies. This is an internship that has the potential to convert to a full-time position at the end of the internship.

 

The Impact You’ll Make

In this role, you will grow an expertise in networking as you receive CCNA level training. You will become an expert in NetBrain's no-code automation platform and learn to be the driving force behind adoption of our no-code automation platform within our client accounts. You will learn to design automation architecture and enable ongoing on automation development efforts while utilizing your excellent communication skills to provide guidance to clients and engineers. 

 

What You'll Learn & Do

  • You will go through NetBrain's training program to build network domain knowledge and learn NetBrain's no-code automation platform.
  • Learn to service customers as the primary solutions consultant for the deployed NetBrain Automation Platform.
  • Perform preventative maintenance of the NetBrain platform to provide visibility for customer's diverse network protocols and technologies: VxLAN/SD-WAN/ACI/Cloud/VMware/IGP/BGP/MPLS, etc.
  • Design, implement, and integrate customized automation solutions into customer diagnostic workflows.
  • Deliver in-person and virtual product training to customer teams during services engagement.
  • Document updates on customer health and progress toward customer milestones.
  • Create and maintain customer-facing materials including knowledge base articles, solutions guides and video content.

 

Who You Are

  • You are bilingual in Mandarin and English.
  • You are actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in a technical subject (STEM).
  • Able to work in Burlington, MA on a hybrid schedule (currently once a week).
  • You are an excellent communicator with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team with little supervision and guidance.
  • Software development knowledge is preferred.
