Mid-Level System Engineer

Boeing Defense, Space and Security is seeking a Mid-Level System Engineer located in the Oklahoma City, OK.  

 

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a very high paced environment. Have a technical understanding in aircraft system and integration efforts. Must have strong communication skills possess the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

 

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite. Will require up to 25% travel.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Managing technical scope of projects
  • Tech Supplier Management Tracking performance to hours and budget authorized
  • Ensuring on time release of engineering deliverables
  • Ensuring First Time Quality of engineering artifacts
  • Shipside support of project installation and testing

 

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • 3+ years of project engineering experience
  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • Commercial Airline experience in maintenance and engineering
  • Ability to Travel 25%

 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working with Military Customer

 

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science,

mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

 

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense

Summary pay range for Mid-Level  $90,950 – 123,050
