About us and the role

Finta is a cloud-based deal room platform that aims to improve the fundraising experience for entrepreneurs and help them grow their companies more efficiently. Finta's mission is to "Help Founders Improve The Lives Of One Billion People" by providing a secure platform that enables teams to improve deal workflow, insights, and speed. Finta is built by a team with years of experience helping hundreds of entrepreneurs start their dream company. 

As a Finta intern, you'll be working on cutting-edge technology that will change the way founders raise capital, working alongside a talented team of experienced professionals who are dedicated to helping you learn and grow and passionate about what they do. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to meet with members of the startup community, from first-time entrepreneurs to successful CEOs, and develop an understanding of the company building process. You'll be executing on the product roadmap, defining and building new product features, and helping to build a culture of engineering excellence.

weekly commitment: 10 hours.

We encourage all applicants to speak with their academic advisor or career services office to confirm eligibility and requirements for receiving credit. Upon acceptance of the position, we will work with you and your institution to ensure that all necessary documentation is completed to receive credit for the internship.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is passionate about technology, with a strong background in computer science and a desire to learn and grow. You should have experience with programming languages such as Javascript & React, as well as a solid understanding of web development technologies like HTML, CSS, and Firebase Firestore. Familiarity with LangChain and the Open AI API's.

But more importantly, we're looking for someone who is excited about the possibilities of what we can achieve together with a strong sense of ‘WHY’. We want someone who is open to new ideas and willing to take risks, someone who isn't afraid to fail and is always looking for ways to improve.
