Summary

The Service Operations Intern contributes to the overall goal of retaining and creating loyalty among Kia customers. This will be accomplished through clearly communicating Kia’s goals, priorities, strategies, and processes to our dealer partners to help them elevate the overall Kia customer experience. This internship is a 10-week, full-time opportunity at Kia America’s Irvine headquarters. The position is hybrid with one remote day per week.

Major Responsibilities

  • Update Kia Service Transaction Guide (located on KDealer+), to include:
    • Brand logos, colors, vehicles, personnel, pictures (as needed)
    • Review each section with appropriate business owner to ensure accuracy and freshness of content.
    • Incorporate digital transaction guide processes and practices.
  • Review and identify opportunities to better communicate with end-user, throughout KDealer+ Service pages.
  • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor. This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed, as necessary.
     

Education/Certification

  • Enrolled in or graduated from a bachelor’s degree program required.

Overall Experience

  • Prior internship experience a plus.
  • Basic understanding of automotive dealership service business preferred.
  • Ability to work with many departments and diverse backgrounds required.
  • Entrepreneur attitude; ability to self-direct and follow-up required.
  • Always looking to gain new knowledge / insight / skills sets required.
