We are looking for a Venue Operations Intern who will support run our newly opened event center. If event planning or budget management interest you, apply! We welcome all majors.
Responsibilities
- Undertake various administrative duties as required, encompassing scheduling, correspondence management, and maintaining meticulous records of events and client interactions.
- Proactively collect feedback from clients post-event to evaluate satisfaction levels and pinpoint areas for enhancement, thereby ensuring continuous improvement in our rental services.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of daily operations for events at The DEC Network Event Center. Ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
- Serve as a vital link between the venue and external vendors, overseeing all aspects of event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure efficient management
Must Have/Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in event or venue management.
- Available for an in-person work day: Wednesdays or Thursdays
- Able to commit to event days - one per month
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Must be able to work 15 hours per week
- Proficiency in Google Docs and Sheets
- This internship is Hybrid - in person only when there are events, other than that, you will be working remotely.
This is not a paid position.
