Equity Derivatives Operations Analyst - Neurodiversity Hiring Initiative

Employment Terms:

  • This role is an 8-week internship with the opportunity to transition to full-time
  • Internship and full-time employment are both fully in-office
  • Hours: 7:00am-5:00pm
  • Overtime: Additional hours may be required
  • Target Start Date: June 3, 2024
  • Estimated Salary: $55,000/year
  • Must be legally authoried to work in the United States, without the need for sponsorship now or in the future

Essential Tasks - In this job, you will:

  • Help mitigate internal, external and legal risk associated with transactions the Equity Derivatives businesses execute
  • Work in a team to economically affirm trades and settlements externally with clients
  • Produce legal confirmations and get them signed and executed
  • Help mitigate settlement risk with counter parties by agreeing on and carrying out settlement of cash off the back of EQ OTC transactions

Education/Knowledge - In this job you need to have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Basic knowledge of financial products and markets, specifically options

Assessment

  • Create a job-specific Candidate Profile: Qualified candidates will receive access to their Candidate Profile to answer job-specific questions and/or complete a work sample exercise to showcase your relevant skills for the role.
  • Meet with a Specialisterne facilitator: After you have completed the Candidate Profile, a Specialisterne facilitator will book a review meeting with you to discuss your profile and help you showcase your skills best.

Manager Meeting

  • The employer will review Candidate Profiles and invite candidates who align best with their role for a structured meeting to learn more about you and answer any questions you may have.
  • After the structured meeting, the employer will select candidates for the internship and selected candidates will begin onboarding.
