Law Enforcement Interns

Law Enforcement Interns will work alongside a sworn full-time U.S. Forest Service
Law Enforcement & Investigations employee whose primary responsibilities are
public safety and the protection of federal lands/natural resources that are
administered by the U.S. Forest Service. Law Enforcement Interns will assist
assigned mentor with various projects and assignments related to the protection,
enforcement, and investigation of crimes committed on Forest Service lands. Interns
will interact with other federal, state, and local law enforcement partners as well as
other first responders and be subject to a fluid environment. Day-to-day duties and
responsibilities will vary according to location and the nature of various
calls/assignments of the mentor. Internship is for a minimum of 6 consecutive months.
