AVAVA Marketing Intern - Summer 2024

SUMMARY

The Marketing Intern/ Specialist will assist the Marketing team in coordinating Marketing strategy and programs in launching new products into market. 

 

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in competitive analysis – forming competitive profiles from available information on competitor websites and other feedback and intelligence from internal network.
  • Develop tradeshow calendar – follow-up with tradeshow vendors to bring Marketing presence to life at key events.
  • Assist in management of social media channels such as Linked In and Instagram including posting, drafting, editing content.
  • Assist in the development of copy documents incorporating brand principles such as messaging hierarchy, brand values, tone of voice, etc.
  • Interface with vendors and provide guidance and coordination in the development of creative materials that bring the brand and product benefits to life.
  • Perform data entry and analysis and generate relevant reports

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
  • Must be “digital forward” and social media adept – able to write posts, adapt tone of voice for social, etc.
  • Prior hands-on experience working in Marketing capacity preferred
  • Prior hands-on experience developing Marketing documents and collateral preferred, e.g. working with graphics designers to convey creative direction
  • Ability to manage vendors to budget and deadlines
  • High level of professionalism ensuring company confidentiality
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with data entry and analytics
  • Excellent communication, organization, time management, and interpersonal/team skills
  • Ability to work independently
