Full-time Data Analyst position available at the VA Boston Healthcare System, working with faculty from Harvard Medical School, Boston University School of Medicine, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Boston University School of Public Health.  Research is focused on epidemiologic and intervention studies related to the benefits of rehabilitative care on the aging of Veterans with chronic medical conditions.  Duties include data management, conducting analyses with the guidance of senior investigators, supervising, and supporting research assistants, preparing regulatory documents for internal and external oversight entities, coordinating communication with collaborators, and assisting with the design of new projects, abstracts, and presentations. The individual must have training in SQL or have the capacity and interest to learn SQL for analyzing VA electronic medical record databases. Experience in Microsoft Access and/or REDCap will also be valued. There is also opportunity to actively participate in writing research papers.  This is a great opportunity to work within a dynamic multidisciplinary clinical research program.  

 

MPH/MS in Public Health, Epidemiology, or an equivalent field is required.  A working knowledge of SAS programming is preferred. Experience working within the VA HealthCare System will be valued.
