About the role

As an Information Security Intern, you'll have the opportunity to gain real-world experience with the various compliance and security activities that exist within a SaaS company. You’ll work on meaningful projects that directly relate to Crunchtime's key business goals.

What you’ll do as an Information Security Intern

  • Participate in a variety of engagements in analyzing, consulting, and reporting associated with assurance and compliance requirements.
  • Assist in sharing key examination findings with the team to help limit security risks and comply with laws and regulations relating to securing sensitive data.
  • Monitor third-party risk assessments and assist in performing internal risk assessments.
  • Assist in cyber security audits, internal and external.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of security and privacy awareness training programs.
  • Assist in reviewing, monitoring, and enhancing security policies.
  • Work to develop and maintain risk and compliance metrics.

What we're looking for

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Understanding of technologies, network operations, and cloud and Data Center Operations.
  • Curiosity/Preparing for Cyber Security Certifications.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding regarding compliance, audit, and security frameworks.
  • Analytical thinker, highly organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task.

Nice to haves

Exposure to:

  • security tools like SIEM and vulnerability scanners.
  • cloud and data center concepts and configurations.
  • software like JIRA and Confluence.
