Environmental Attributes Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Environmental Attributes Analyst to support Global’s sustainability business. The role is responsible for generating actionable insights into low carbon fuel market trends and policies. This role will identity opportunities to meet Global’s emerging needs in this space, then help translate this knowledge into a portfolio of products, solutions and services that drive growth for us.

“Gauges” of Responsibility  

  • Analyze clean fuel program developments and environmental commodities to identify opportunities and flag challenges to Global’s business model
  • Follow and develop expertise in GHG accounting methodologies and carbon intensity pathways
  • Track and analyze industry trends & relevant public policy  
  • Identify target markets and customers to support growth plans
  • Attend industry events and network with key stakeholders building Global’s sustainability profile
  • Conduct due diligence on growth opportunities  
  • Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Environmental Science, Public Policy or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of low carbon fuels and their associated regulatory frameworks
  • Analytic skills that enable informed, data-driven business decisions and judgement required
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead, influence and build relationships across functions at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to travel 15-20% of the time
