Desktop Support Specialist

The Technology Department of the Town of Natick is looking for a detail-oriented person to fill the role of Desktop Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will have skills supporting Windows, Chromebooks, MAC, IOS and a variety of other mobile devices in a face paced environment.   

This position requires an associate degree or equivalent in information systems or a related field with a minimum of three (3) years of related experience in maintaining and troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a multi-platform environment preferred. Position requires the ideal candidate to have hands-on experience in Windows, Chrome devices, MAC OSX, and Apple IOS. Knowledge of LAN, WAN, and TCP/IP concepts Plus video and Computer Projections Systems is a plus.  The ideal candidate must be a team player who can effectively manage multiple priorities while providing customer support for the data and voice network users. Experience in a municipal environment supporting Public Safety or Public Schools is also a plus.

This position is Grade 3 of the Town’s Classification Pay Plan with a hiring range of $60,000 to $72,000; actual salary is dependent upon qualifications.
