Quantitative Trading Analyst

 

DGV Solutions- Quantitative Trading Analyst

 

Description 

The Quantitative Trading Analyst will assist in the firm’s trading and other daily trading operational activities. Responsibilities include assisting with trade execution, new strategy research, analysis to improve trade execution, daily reporting, trade settlements, reconciliations and other items. External interaction with trading counterparties, custodians and others will be frequent. 

Desired 2+ years work experience, strong academic achievement in STEM/business, and programming skills in Python/Matlab.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly in person with a multidisciplinary team in our suburban Minneapolis office
  • Lead the prototyping of new investment strategies
    • Develop financial models that utilize machine learning and other advanced statistical techniques to mine, explore and connect large datasets
    • Develop back test models to gauge potential strategy performance
    • Develop statistical dashboards that report the results of existing and newly created financial models
  • Maintain and enhance code repository
  • Present modeled results to senior leadership

 

Requirements 

  • Strong academic achievement in a STEM or Business-related field
  • Desired 2+ years work experience 
  • Ability to work onsite in suburban Minneapolis
  • Demonstrated ability to develop code in programs such as Python
  • Passion for learning new skills and a deep intellectual curiosity
  • Ability to think independently and work collaboratively
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction and without sponsorship, petition or application by DGV, now or in the future
