Human Resources Coordinator (Remote)

Cranial Technologies is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR team. This is an entry-level HR role perfect for someone who is looking to get their foot in the door at a growing company, who is curious, resourceful, and eager to learn about the Human Resources field. We are looking for a team member who is eager to learn about and grow into the payroll and benefits side of HR. This person will also respond quickly and with good judgment to a variety of situations, and handle sensitive information in a professional manner, working with staff at all levels of the organization.

Cranial Technologies, headquartered in Tempe, AZ, manufactures the DOC Band®, a customized medical device that reshapes babies’ heads. You would be an important part of a growing team that changes babies’ lives. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Accurately and completely enter data into payroll software (UKG) in accordance with company policy
  • Respond to inquiries from employees regarding paychecks, expense reimbursements, bonuses, etc.
  • Provide employee benefit education and enrollment assistance, create communication tools, and assist employees with benefit related issues and inquiries
  • Coordinate the leave of absence program, including FMLA, maternity, medical, and other leaves
  • Prepare reports and other administrative duties as necessary
  • Assist with Ad Hoc HR projects
  • Organize HR-related files and documents to comply with records retention requirements
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Prior experience working with UKG Pro is preferred but not required
