Service Advisor/ Customer Relations

The Company

Lenco Armored Vehicles in Pittsfield, MA is the leading designer and manufacturer of armored police vehicles for Law Enforcement Agencies and State Police and Sheriff’s Department SWAT teams. Lenco also manufactures armored military vehicles for International Police Forces, the US Army, US Navy, US Air Force and US Marines. Lenco armored vehicles are built on heavy-duty commercial truck chassis platforms. This allows for warranty covered repairs, maintenance service, and parts replacements on the vehicle chassis at any number of OEM dealers, truck centers and retail parts stores.

The Opportunity

The Service Advisor Intern will help in the contact process for all customer related questions, vehicle repairs and recommended vehicle services. You can expect to interact with the Lenco Customers, Sales Department, Engineering Department, Parts Sales Department, Production, and all levels of Management.

Responsibilities 

• Diagnose vehicle concerns in the field via phone / e-mail correspondence and provide repair solutions
• Coordinate offsite vehicle repairs
• Process subcontractor Repair Orders and submit to Accounts for payment
• Maintain the Vehicle History Database
• Generate monthly Customer Contact Reports and submit to Senior Management

• Support the research of products and equipment for custom installations, as required
• Assist Sales and Engineering Department with customer prebuild conferences and product
integration, as required
• Conduct out-of-service maintenance checks on vehicles, as required

 

Requirements

Associates degree in a technical discipline or 5+ years in a related field. Automotive experience and Customer service experience are a plus.

 

Compensation and Applicant Instructions

Work hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday. This opportunity is fully in-person in Pittsfield, MA.
