Summer Intern - Marketing

Position Summary

The Rocket Pharmaceuticals Internship Program is a paid 10-week summer program for university students. Interns will gain hands-on experience working alongside a diverse group of professionals with a mission to develop curative gene therapies for patients with devastating diseases.

This individual will have the opportunity to support the commercialization of Rocket’s initial portfolio of gene therapy products for rare genetic diseases. This intern will gain experience and responsibility for core projects for launch performance review for KRESLADI, our first commercial product launch in the U.S. This individual will also support the disease awareness campaign development and implementation for Fanconi Anemia across Health Care Providers (HCPs) and

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring of core commercial KPIs and implementation of the core dashboard for senior leadership reporting for KRESLADI
  • Support the development of the FA disease awareness campaign, including assimilation of scientific narrative and positioning that is being developed and aligned with the medical affairs team and Global Project Team (GPT)
    • Includes reviewing all existing market research, brand plan and communication plan to ensure alignment of core strategic imperatives.
  • Capstone Deliverable – Executive Presentation at the Commercial Steering Committee (CSC) meeting reviewing the roll-out plan of the FA disease awareness campaign, digital engagement metrics and other KPIs to monitor
  • End-of-summer presentation to Rocket team members on key learnings from internship experience

Qualifications

  • Rising junior or senior bachelors degree student in marketing, consumer psychology or a related discipline.
  • Graduate program (MBA) student in marketing or a related discipline
  • Thinks broadly, strategically, and thrives in a fast-changing environment.
  • Proven ability to successfully communicate and execute organizational goals and brand strategies.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to appropriately access and handle business information in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and / or Rocket Pharmaceuticals policies
  • Demonstrate initiative and willingness to work hands-on with a sense of urgency, in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
