Mid Level Systems Administrator
SimVentions is a 100% employee-owned business and has consistently been voted one of Virginia's Best Places to Work. We are looking for a mid-level Systems Administrator to join our team and provide Systems Administrator support to PMA-231 on base at NAVAIR Patuxent River, MD.
Responsibilities: Provide deployment and configuration support for: VMWare/vSphere Enterprise, Cisco switches, SAN, Win Server, Networking, and Linux
Requirements:
- United States Citizenship
- At least 5 years of experience performing system administration in a Linux environment
- COMPTIA Security + or other DOD INST 8570 compliant qualification required
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- At least 2 years of Network engineering experience
Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is required
Clearance: A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
