Operations Fellow

Job Description Summary

A fellowship is an entry-level position designed to teach the employee the
fundamental facets of health and wellness advertising, the company, and their department. With a focus on training, our Fellows will have the opportunity to participate in training courses such as Pharma 101, Business Writing, and
Foundations of Presenting; as well as a series of discussions with Senior
Executives to understand how each department partners to service our clients. Fellows are given opportunities to expand their network and be mentored by the greatest minds in pharmaceutical advertising.

The Operations Fellow assists the Director of Operations with maintaining the daily operations of the applicable departments and agencies to which they are assigned. The Operations Fellow assists with project management, resource management, production, and coordinating activities across the operations team and agency.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedules and attends department status meetings with the internal team - identified by the Operations Lead
- Prepares meeting recap and sends it to the appropriate team members 
- Assists Resource Management with staffing allocations, billing reporting, and coordinating freelance talent
- Assists in agency office operations – new employees, client visit preparation, department events, and agency events 
- Supporting Operations Lead and Operations Team – scheduling events and meetings, assisting with PowerPoint and Excel needs, calendar management

IDEAL EXPERIENCE/CANDIDATE
- BA/BS in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or equivalent
- 0–1 year relevant business experience
- Prior experience in administrative/office assistance/communications
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational and excellent verbal and written communications techniques as well as a keen eye for detail
- The successful candidate should thrive in a procedural and methodical environment, be comfortable working under pressure while maintaining a quality standard of work, and demonstrate strong proactive agility
