PAY AND BENEFITS

Annual Pay Range: $54,212.53 - $69,321.74

Hourly Pay Range: $26.063714 - $33.327760

Salary offers will be made within the posted pay range and will be based on a candidate's experience (paid or unpaid) that is directly relevant to the position.

JOB DETAILS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Clackamas Water Environment Services (WES) is currently seeking a WES Technician to join their team to support day-to-day operations including operating heavy-duty diesel truck and trailer combinations to load, unload, haul and transfer liquids and dewatered biosolids for reuse at agricultural sites or for further treatment or disposal. The WES Technician will also load, unload, haul and transfer solid waste grit, screenings and stormwater decant material to landfills and operate solids handling equipment to prepare biosolids. The WES Technician has additional responsibilities for basic maintenance and custodial activities at WES treatment plants and facilities.

Successful candidates will possess their Class A CDL at the time of hire, with experience driving large vehicles pulling double or triple tankers. The most competitive candidates will have experience working in a water treatment facility environment.

Required Minimum Qualifications/ Transferrable Skills:*

• A minimum of one (1) year of related experience that would provide the required knowledge and skills to perform the responsibilities of this position

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a tank endorsement and no restrictions in order to drive manual transmission at the time of hire

Clackamas Water Environment Services produces clean water and protects water quality for more than 190,000 people living and working in Clackamas County. We operate and maintain five resource recovery facilities, 23 pumping stations and hundreds of miles of pipes.

Each year, we clean more than seven billion gallons of water which we recover and turn into natural energy and fertilizer. We also help reduce pollution in local rivers, streams, and wetlands caused by surface and stormwater runoff, the number one source of water pollution in Oregon.
