Summer Public Relations Internship

We’re hiring summer interns! The Brooks Group is a remote Lifestyle PR agency, founded in 1995, known for working with culinary giants including Andrew Zimmern, Jacques Torres, Adam Richman, Robert Irvine and more. We are interviewing summer interns to join our team 3-4 days a week who are majoring or minoring in PR and are in their Junior year. The remote team is a tight knit collaborative group and the position offers the opportunity to learn all about the PR process. Please note, this internship is an unpaid experience. Candidates must receive college credit and live in Eastern time zone.

Responsibilities

- Conducting research

- Media monitoring

- Compiling and updating media lists

- Writing pitches

- Assembling press kits

- Drafting social media content

- Client placement mock-ups

- Maintaining client materials

- Administrative duties

Qualifications

All candidates must be rising seniors, majoring or minoring in public relations. The ideal candidate should have exceptional writing and communication skills and have the ability to multi-task and handle a fast-paced environment. We are seeking an organized individual who is motivated and takes initiative; prior PR experience/internship a plus.
