About the Position:
This is a Limited Term position which may be extended to 24 months or become permanent.
Under the direction of the Branch Chief of Mobility and System Performance, a Senior Transportation Engineer (Supervisor), the incumbent, a Transportation Engineer (Civil) serves as the Transportation Analysis Engineer in the Transportation System Analysis Branch and supports the statewide Transportation Systems Improvement Program (TSIP).
The incumbent is responsible for developing the technical analysis, evaluation, and assessment of the statewide TSIP projects supporting the State Highway System Management Plan (SHSMP). The incumbent serves as a statewide multi-modal transportation analysis expert specializing in transportation modeling, data collection, and analysis methodologies.
