Somar is a global long-short equity fund. Each summer we invite motivated students to join us to learn about fundamental investing and get hands-on experience.

Investment analyst

·       Intern will support the investment team in the analysis of a particular industry cluster

·       Be briefed by investment team on an investment opportunity

·       Brainstorm with investment team on ways to answer major due diligence questions

·       Proposing project that will answer due diligence questions

·       Conduct the research and interpret results

·       Synthesize findings and present them to the investment team

·       Recommend refinements to project executed and additional projects that could be done to deepen fact gathering
