Maintenance Training Coordinator

To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Maintenance Training Coordinator. The Maintenance Training Coordinator must be a self-starter with a professional attitude and demeanor, capable of interacting with all levels of personnel in a fast-paced work environment and possess the ability to work independently. Along with the principal duties and responsibilities listed below, this position will assist in answering phone calls, taking memos, maintaining files, and managing correspondence. This position will report to the Manager, Aircraft Maintenance Training.

 

Essential Duties:    

  • Coordinate with instructor on classroom training programs and training documentation
  • Monitor training compliance through records auditing
  • Create spreadsheets to track student movement
  • Send monthly notifications of upcoming classroom training
  • Coordinate movement of students via travel, hotel reservations, and car rentals
  • Track per diem issuances and expense reclamation for training students

 

Job Qualifications and Competencies:   

  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task 
  • Ability to work independently and meet specified deadlines
  • Ability to work well with all levels of management and support personnel 
  • Advanced ability in Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

 

Preferred Qualifications:   

  • Previous administrative experience in a busy office environment 
  • Skilled in computer knowledge and usage 
  • Knowledge of basic airport procedures and fundamental job requirements for airlines 
  • Current Piedmont employee with a minimum six months of service 
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business Administration, or related field  

 

Work Environment:   

  • Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule if needed  

 

Physical Requirements:   

  • Occasional lifting, up to 25 pounds

Employment is contingent upon a clear driving record, 10-year Criminal History Records Check, and drug screen as required. We also require proof of high school or GED completion. Minimum 18 years of age.

 

Benefit package includes paid training, holiday pay, 401(k), vacation, and family travel on the American Airlines network.  Medical and dental available.

 

Starting Rate:

$40,000.00/Annual Salary - 54,000.00/Annual Salary (Based on locale and experience)
