IT Intern - Neurodiversity Hiring Initiative

Summary:

Employment Terms:

  • This role is a 10-week internship with the opportunity to transition to full-time
  • Internship and full-time employment are both fully in-office
  • Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
  • Schedule: Start time is around 8am (Eastern Time); Candidates may be asked to start early for some meetings, dependent on needs of clients and peers
  • Internship Start Date: June 3, 2024
  • Internship End Date: August 9, 2024
  • Internship Hourly Rate: $29-$50/hourly
  • Full-Time Salary Range (if applicable): $85,000-$115,000/yearly
  • Candidates who need to relocate for this opportunity will be provided a lump sum to offset relocation (this does not include housing costs)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, without the need for sponsorship now or in the future

Essential Tasks - In this job, you will:

  • Learn Microsoft Azure technologies
  • Work with business users to gather requirements
  • Present designs for review to customers and managers
  • Program and create reports using Power BI
  • Review documents to learn existing solutions that you are expected to enhance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Industrial or Computer/Systems Engineering, Information Security, Applied Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Analytics or a related discipline -OR- be currently working towards this degree with 1-2 summers before graduating
  • Basic statistical knowledge
  • Basic understanding of relational databases

The Specialisterne Recruitment Process

Application

Assessment

  • After the 1:1 meeting, the employer will select candidates for the final interview. Following the final interview, the employer will extend internship offers to those who best match their hiring needs.
