Junior Data Analyst

The Restaurant Store is seeking a highly-driven professional to join our team as a Junior Data Analyst. As part of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with the creation and analysis of reports and strategies designed to find new opportunities for growth and optimization within various departments in the organization.

Responsibilities include:

Work with analytics programs like Microsoft Power BI, and Excel to create data visualizations and dashboards to be shared company-wide

Analyze ongoing initiatives to evaluate effectiveness and plan for future projects

Communicate reports and findings out to the broader organization

Assist in analyzing store and marketing performance data, and in the creation of an in-house tools to help streamline sales efforts across stores

Desired experience and skills:

Experience working with Power BI preferred

Experience with SQL and DAX preferred

Skilled in Microsoft Office programs

Professional communication skills

Entrepreneurial spirit

 Hunger for continued learning and professional development

Thorough and accurate work with high attention to detail

Proven problem-solving skills using critical thinking

Ability to think outside of the box for creative solutions

Ability to work with a team

Ability to communicate findings clearly and to teach others how to consume data

A bachelor’s degree in data analytics, business, or related fields
