Business Development Sales Representative

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious BDSR Intern to join our dynamic sales team. This internship opportunity is designed for college students with a strong business focus who are eager to gain practical experience in business development and sales. As a BDSR Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team, assisting with lead generation, and contributing to the growth of our business. This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in sales strategies, client relationship management, and market research.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation: Assist the sales team in identifying potential customers and generating leads through market research, online prospecting, and other relevant strategies.
  2. Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team in preparing sales materials, presentations, and proposals for clients.
  3. Client Communication: Support the team in maintaining positive relationships with existing clients, handling inquiries, and providing necessary information promptly.
  4. Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and potential market opportunities to aid in developing effective sales strategies.
  5. Sales Data Management: Help manage and maintain the CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date customer information and sales activities.
  6. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to assist with various sales-related projects and initiatives, contributing your unique perspective and ideas.
  7. Sales Analytics: Assist in analyzing sales data and performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and recommend actionable strategies.
  8. Learning and Development: Participate in training sessions, workshops, and sales meetings to enhance your skills and knowledge in sales techniques and business development.


 

Qualifications:

  • Business Focus: Currently pursuing a college degree with a focus on business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with team members and clients.
  • Motivated Self-Starter: Proactive and driven individual who can take initiative, work independently, and meet project deadlines.
  • Analytical Abilities: Adept at conducting research and analyzing data to derive insights and make informed decisions.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively and thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Sales Enthusiast: Keen interest in sales and business development, with a desire to learn and grow in this field.

 

Other Requirements:

  • Available to work 15-20 hours per week
  • Able to work on site at lease once per week to meet supervisor
