JOB TITLE
Computation Biology Intern 12-14 weeks
35-40 hours per week
 

  • RESPONSIBILITIES
    Work across the drug discovery phases to learn what the key questions and datasets take priority.
  • Learn the ins and outs of cutting edge CRISPR screening techniques, -omics datasets, and analysis pipelines that precede data aggregation.
  • Collect internal and external datasets, CRISPR screens, and build accessible visualization tools.
  • Be provided the opportunity for creativity and artistic flare in science using the visualization tools.

 

  • DESIRED MAJORS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS + SKILLS
    You have a strong biology foundation.
  • Degree concentration(s) in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Biomedical Engineering,
    Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a similarly quantitative discipline
  • You have experience in data visualization basics and coding (python, R, ggplot2, Jupyter notebooks preferred).
  • You have a desire to be creative, communicate, and engage across teams.
  • You work hard, you are kind to others, and you enjoy being a part of a collaborative team
    that gets stuff done.
  • You enjoy being in an environment where scientific data rules the day.
     

MOMA Therapeutics is a biotechnology company focused on developing inhibitors of highly dynamic proteins, namely ATPases, which play critical roles in a variety of Oncology indications. Our platform allows us to successfully prosecute drug discovery against difficult and unprecedented targets which are core cancer dependencies. MOMA is planning to initiate clinical development for two programs in 2024.

PAY RATE
$25/hr
 

LOCATION
20 Acorn Park Drive, Cambridge MA, 02140 – MBTA accessible

This will not be remote work; this will be onsite 4/5 days a week in the office. A Lenovo laptop will be supplied for the duration of internship.
