JOB TITLE

Marketing Intern
Up to 40 hours/week 10-12 weeks

RESPONSIBILITIES

This intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in several exciting marketing initiatives such as:

Lead a key marketing project by researching industry examples, obtain feedback from cross- functional teams and provide a recommendation for the business through a presentation. Will then be responsible for leading and executing the process for evaluating external agency capabili􏰀es presenta􏰀ons by developing a scorecard to assess agency performance and scheduling a debrief

Attend and schedule various marketing meetings including brand team meetings, brand planning, and agency status calls

Join promotional review committee meetings and understand how marketing materials are approved

Assist with coordinating field advisory board meetings, including scheduling, settng agendas and prioritizing action plans

Participate in other marketing projects as needed
This intern will also have the opportunity to participate in Ambassadors, a group of X4tizens (X4 employees) dedicated to planning events and activities for the company.

DESIRED MAJORS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS + SKILLS

• Incoming undergraduate junior or senior
• Interest in business or marketing, though a specific academic degree is not required

• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
• Must be proficient with the Microsoft􏰃 Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
• Must be comfortable communicating and presenting professionally

 • Eager to learn about pharmaceutical marketing industry
• Interest in a career in pharmaceutical or biotech industry is a plus

YOUR INTERVIEW PROCESS

All candidates will interview with two members of the marketing team over Zoom. We will be looking for someone who is enthusiastic and eager to learn more about marketing in the biotech industry and would be interesting in leading a marketing project and collaborating with cross-functional colleagues.

PAY RATE

$25/hr

LOCATION

X4 offers free parking available on site and is also MBTA accessible. If traveling by MBTA, X4 will provide a stipend for the cost of public transportation.

This is a hybrid position with 2 days/week (typically Tuesday and Wednesdays) in the office and 3 days/week remote. Laptop and equipment will be provided.

VACCINATION PREFERENCE

As a condition of employment at X4 Pharmaceuticals, all employees and new employees must have received their complete doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and one booster, unless they have been granted an exemption by X4.
