Job Description

Law interns work with a senior member of our staff on cutting edge legal issues relating to cyber law, privacy law, state and federal cyber and privacy laws, building privacy or cyber compliance programs or cyber legislation in Tanzania. Typical intern projects involve researching novel legal issues or recent Supreme Court decisions or enforcement actions related to technology, drafting memos or policies on specific topics, analyzing and comparing multiple state statutes, analyzing requirements promulgated by federal agencies, including, e.g., SEC, FTC and CISA, or drafting blog posts.

Virtual Office

We are a fully virtual firm. We will meet with interns via zoom and allow interns to virtually shadow staff in meetings, but interns will work independently and asynchronously for the majority of hours worked.

Qualifications / Compensation

Interns must be enrolled in (or have graduated from) an accredited law school and must have: (1) a strong academic background; (2) excellent research and writing skills; (3) interest in cybersecurity, privacy and/or cybercrime law; and (4) experience with or interest in networks, systems, devices or other emerging technologies.

Must have completed at least one year of law school and be willing to work a minimum of 20 hours per week. Summer interns must commit to working at least 6 weeks and be able to start by June 1. Exceptions to the start date may be made for students splitting the summer.
