Systems Administrator User Support Specialist

About the role:

Ab Initio is looking for a couple of early career hires to join our systems/IT organization. You would be joining a small (14 people), highly-experienced team committed to providing excellent mentorship and career growth opportunities.

Our company has grown significantly the past few years, and our systems team is currently supporting twice as many end users as they were 6 years ago! In addition to our headcount growth, we recently began a multi-year project to redesign and modernize all of our internal infrastructure and applications as we migrate to a cloud native environment.

The initial focus of this role is end user support – helping new employees get setup with hardware and software environments, as well as troubleshooting and ticket resolution. This role will evolve substantially in the next few years and the right candidate will be looking to grow their technical skills and breadth of experience, through contributing to other projects on the systems team such as our cloud migration and automation efforts.

The team is open to applicants with a wide variety of experience who want to learn on the job. We recommend candidates have either some experience with computer programming and/or working in an IT department in order to apply.
