Education Coordinator

Salary 

$45,000 - $60,000/year, commensurate with experience and education

 

As the Education Coordinator at LPC, you will have oversight of program curriculum and provide support to our curriculum coaches and educators. 

 

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Train and support educators to complete observations, assessments, and developmental screenings
  • Oversee the professional development plan for the program as well as individual educators
  • Oversee high-quality program assessments and accreditations
  • Participate in grant-writing and oversee grant activities as they relate to the program
  • Lead educator team meetings
  • Lead education coach meetings
  • Present workshops throughout the year
  • Provide educational content for external communication
  • Support multiple programs within 12 mile radius

Requirements

  • Bachelors' Degree in Early Childhood or Child Development or higher required
  • Must have ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Be highly organized and attentive to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in computer skills
  • Advanced knowledge of child development, focusing on birth - 12 yr
  • Advanced knowledge of NAEYC accreditation, developmental screening, and child assessment
