HR Compensation Advisor (1695)

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Compensation Advisor to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will manage and support New England Biolabs' (NEB) compensation programs. As a Compensation Advisor, you will analyze market trends, evaluate internal roles, and ensure our compensation practices align with the company's overall strategy.

Primary Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the NEB's compensation programs, including but not limited to market pricing, survey participation, base salary administration, job evaluation, and leveling.

Assist in the management of NEB's bonus programs.

Collaborate with managers to understand job requirements, maintain accurate job descriptions, create new job profiles and levels and provide guidance on promotions.

Support the annual performance review process by analyzing and recommending salary adjustments.

Conduct market research and analyze industry compensation trends ensuring NEB’s compensation packages remain competitive.

Maintain the job architecture and base salary ranges within our HRIS compensation platform.

Prepare reports and presentations and communicate compensation-related insights to leadership.

Conduct regular compensation reviews to ensure equity, fairness, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Participate in the review of the global compensation structure.

 

Required Qualifications and Experience: 

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field.

Minimum three years of proven experience in a compensation role.

Advanced Excel skills.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in modeling and trend analysis.

In-depth knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and regulations.

Proficient in using compensation survey data and market analysis tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when necessary.
