Implementation Analyst, Transaction Tax Compliance

This position will be a onsite for the first 90 days and then will transition to a hybrid position.

Position Summary

The Implementation Analyst supports the Transaction Tax Compliance function by assisting on new client implementations and data processing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze client source data reports and build data models from multiple client reporting platforms for import into DMA systems
  • Establish guidelines for tax credits, amended returns, renewals, notice handling expectations, funding procedures, and reporting requirements
  • Document compliance processes and procedures for each new client
  • Setup new client profile in all internal software systems used for return preparation
  • Maintain client contact throughout new client onboarding process
  • Manage transition process from onboarding to production
  • Troubleshoot and resolve client data issues during onboarding
  • Process client data feeds into tax software program

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with online filing and back-end client reporting as needed
  • Support Production team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • 1+ years’ experience with DMA or in a similar position
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Previous data modeling experience preferred
  • Ability to learn Transaction Tax and software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position does not qualify for employment-based sponsorship.
