Position Summary
Work with Business Development and Property Tax divisions to help identify business opportunities and create tax savings propositions for prospective clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in meetings with regional property tax consultants to understand local tax issues, assessment trends, savings opportunities, and desired types of clients
- Utilize commercial real estate data services and jurisdictional websites to obtain property-specific information
- Extract, organize and format both tax and assessment data into Excel
- Analyze data and identify potential leads using various real estate valuation methodologies
- Condense information, highlight valid business reasons, and deliver leads to Property Tax and Business Development teams
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-3 years professional experience in property valuation, property tax, real estate or accounting preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Familiarity with CoStar preferred
- Exceptional organizational and research skills required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Capacity to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously
